Delivery Information

We despatch all our orders to the Great Britain mainland using a carrier service that delivers most orders in 2 to 10 working days. Non mainland deliveries may take a little longer, as might orders for some more specialist items and items delivered as standard with an assembly service or with the assembly/installation option selected. Delivery lead times for most items are shown on the item listing page. Check with us beforehand if unsure.

Christmas and New Year Period: Orders received after 20th December will usually not be processed until the first working day following the New Year holiday.

All GB mainland orders of £100 and over in value (excluding VAT) are shipped free of charge on our standard delivery. For orders under this amount a postage and packing charge of £6.95 (excluding VAT) will be added. 

Orders are only despatched and delivered on weekdays. Please note, we are unable to deliver to a PO Box number - a physical address is required.

Standard delivery is to the kerbside/ground floor. If you require delivery to anything other than the kerbside/ground floor, please contact us for a quotation before ordering or select the delivery and installation option if this is available for the item that you are interested in or check the item comes as standard with an assembly service. The delivery and installation option is not available for certain GB mainland post codes as shown, nor Northern Ireland nor any offshore or other non-mainland GB locations. Many of the items on our site are large and bulky. Please make sure that access to your location for a large vehicle is practical without difficulty and adequate parking without penalty is available and any security/access requirements are specified. For any assembly/installation service as standard or optional, if available and necessary lifts must be accessible for the fitters. Other works likely to interfere with installation/assembly such as carpet fitting, decorating or electrical work must be complete. Please contact us to discuss before ordering if there is any doubt at all to avoid any problems with delivery and/or additional charges.

A next working day shipping option for orders received before 12:00pm is available to GB Mainland only on some items as indicated on the item page or in some cases at check-out. If a next-day option is available on the item page, please select this option if required before check-out. Some other items are also available for next-day and if so this will be available at check-out. In some cases, next day shipment can also be arranged for orders received later than 12:00pm, but you should call us first to check:  01225 487200.

Next day shipping is not available to the following areas: Northern Ireland , Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Aberdeenshire and the Isle of Man; any international deliveries.

Extra delivery charges apply to orders for delivery to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, any other non-mainland orders and all international orders. These delivery charges are calculated based on the size and weight of the item(s). For deliveries to these locations, contact us before ordering for a quotation on delivery.

Delivery Matrix


Our carriers usually deliver Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.30pm and should post a card through the door with a contact number if there is no one to sign for the delivery. Customers should use the contact information on the card to re-arrange the delivery by phone or online.

In the event of a non-delivery as above, if the carrier receives no contact from the customer, items are usually returned to us in 7 to 10 working days. Any items returned to us will incur a re-delivery or re-stocking charge. This charge may vary depending on the size of the item.
